I just put it together, I don't own Phantom.
Just in case you're wondering, the people in this are: Gerard Butler (2004 Andrew Lloyd Webber musical film Adaptation The Phantom of the Opera), Lon Chaney (1925 original [silent, black and white/sepia] The Phantom of the Opera film), William Finley (1974 rock musical adaptation The Phantom of the Paradise [color, sound] film), Claude Rains (1943 The Phantom of the Opera [black and white with sound] film adaptation), Herbert Lom (1962 Hammer horror film [black and white, sound] The Phantom of the Opera film adaptation), and Vincent Price (1971 Phantom spin-off horror/mystery [similar to Saw] The Abominable Doctor Phibes film [color, sound]). Underneath in the area for your icons is a list of all of the stars, including some others. No, I didn't include Dario Argento's version, because his was more like a disgraceful freak show. In addition to the list of people who have played in the show, a list of the places it plays is included.

Phibes is Phantomesque, but I wouldn't exactly call it even a loose adaptation. It is a tempting prospect however.

Why is Phibes on here? True, its one of my fave movies and Vince can do no wrong, but it wasent a spinoff?

Love Lon Chaney's Phantom best, Closely Followed By Michael Crawford in the 1988 Musical Version, who I noticed you left off of here. :) Never mind, It's still a great collection.

I saw the original with Lon Chaney at my church one night. [Silent film, accompanied by organ]
I can safely say he was the BEST phantom. Ever.

No doubt. :sing:

I love the 1962 version. Sweet, satisfying, has a backbone, and his current residence is inside my head. XD Love you Prof. Petrie!
